Display Prices In Effect

When you click OK in the Price Lookup (PLU) program or Prices in effect in the Pricing by Product Class & Customer Type (PRC) program, these fields display:

Pricing method	The pricing method for this price
Type	The type of base price used: List: List price Cost+: Cost plus a markup amount or percent Margin: Cost plus a profit margin
Base price	The list price or cost before adjustments and discounts are added or subtracted Note This field displays only if you selected the See costs and markups? option for the Prices in Effect (PLUI) inquiry in the Program Options Maintenance (XROPT) program.
Adj/discount	The percent or fixed amount added to or subtracted from the base price Note This field displays only if you selected the See costs and markups? option for the Prices in Effect (PLUI) inquiry in the Program Options Maintenance (XROPT) program.
Disc %	The calculated discount percent; i.e., the total discount amount divided by the price Note This field displays only if you selected the See costs and markups? option for the Prices in Effect (PLUI) inquiry in the Program Options Maintenance (XROPT) program.
Price code	The price code
Price	The price of the item Note If you selected the See all prices in effect? option for the Prices in Effect (PLUI) inquiry in the Program Options Maintenance (XROPT) program, the inquiry displays all prices for the item, if more than one price exists. If you selected the Round prices to nearest cent? option in the System Options Maintenance (XM) program (Pricing Options), the adjustment is rounded although 5 decimals display. For example, 51.86585 displays as 51.87000.
Ind	Partial contract indicator
Contract number	The number of the contract that applies
Effective	The date this pricing went into effect
Expiration	The date after which this pricing is no longer valid
Br	The pricing branch
UOM	The sales unit of measure
Cust/Group	The number of the customer, customer price class, or customer type for this pricing
Item/Group	The item number, item price class, product class, or product subclass for this pricing
Pricing comment	Usually blank but can display information about the price displayed (e.g., a UOM conversion, contract limit exceeded)
Seq	System-assigned sequence number

Choose the appropriate options:

To	Do This
Print this price list	Click Print. See Print an Inquiry.
Display pricing history for the item	Highlight a line and click History. See Display Pricing History by Item. Click OK to return to the program.
Display the selected price record	Click Price detail. See Display a Price Record. Click OK to return to this program. This button displays only if you selected the Print record price detail? option for the Prices in Effect (PLUI) inquiry in the Program Options Maintenance (XROPT) program.
Exit the Prices in Effect display	Click OK.
