Calculate Accumulated Lead Time

Use the Accumulated Lead Time Calculation (MLT) program to calculate critical-path lead times for parent items in bills of material and print a report. See Background and Road Map for more information.

  1. Set your options:

    1. Click the Runtime tab to set runtime options. See Set Options for Reports and Inquiries for more information.

    2. Click the Selection tab to select specific records.

    3. Click the Program tab to set these program specific options:

Select to print a report of proposed changes without updating accumulated lead times or leave blank to update lead times and print a log of changes.

Print only items whose lead time changed

Select to include on the report only the items with new lead times or leave blank to print all items.

Erase work files?

Select to erase work files after printing or leave blank if you want to save the work files for subsequent report printing.

Output device

Required

Select the device to which you want to output the report.

  1. Choose the appropriate options:

Process the calculation

Click Process.

If the program displays the message A previous MLT report exists, click Reprint to reprint the existing report, click Delete to delete it and continue, or click Exit the program.

Save these options for future use

Click Save.

Redisplay selected options

Click Refresh.

Exit the program

Click Exit.

  2. Choose the appropriate options:

Review the report on the screen before printing

Click View. See Background for a list of what displays.

Print the report

Click Print. See Background for a list of what prints.

The report prints immediately if the option Allow device override? in the Date-Output Device Maintenance (ZE) program is not selected.

If this option is selected, the program prompts Output device. Accept the default device that displays, which is specified in the Date-Output Device Maintenance program, or enter the name of a different device.

Save these options for future use

Click Save.

Exit the program

Click Exit.
