Change Output Information

When you run a print queue program, you can process selected documents in the queue and change output information for a selected document. See Overview: Document Management System for more information.

  1. Highlight the document in the print queue that you want to change and click Select.

    The program displays these fields:

Order number if you selected O for Sort file copies by order or recipient?

The field may also display a fax number; the system groups faxes so the fax number is dialed once and sent with one cover page.

  1. Choose the appropriate options:

Click Delete. See Delete.

Click Cancel.

Output this document copy

Click Process.

Accept the data

Click OK.

Exit and return to the menu

Click Quit.

  1. Choose the appropriate options when you click OK or Cancel:

Set selection options so that you can output, reprint, or remove selected documents.

Click Prog opts.

Display the selected document

Click Select.

Display the previous set of records in the file

Click Page up.

Display the next set of records in the file

Click Page down.

Display documents from a specific document

Click Restart.

Add documents to the queue

Click Add.

Delete the selected document

Click Delete. The program prompts Do you want to delete the highlighted record? Click Delete to remove the document or click No to retain it.

Set program options that can affect what prints and the appearance of this document

Click Form options.

Process all documents in the queue

Click Process queue. The program prompts Clear printed documents from the queue? Click Yes to remove processed documents from the queue or No to retain them.

Remove the documents that meet the selection criteria you set when you clicked Options

Click Remove. The program prompts Do you want to remove all displayed records from the queue? Click Delete to remove the document or click No to retain it.

Remove processed documents that you sent to the queue

Click Clear queue. The program prompts Delete records that have been processed? Click Yes to remove processed documents or No to retain them.

Note

The program only clears documents that you sent to the print queue. Documents sent to the queue by another user remain in the queue.

Process the documents that meet the selection criteria you set when you clicked Options

Click Selected queue. See Process Selected Documents in the Queue.

Reprint the documents that meet the selection criteria you set when you clicked Options

Click Reprint.

Exit the program

Click Exit.
