Add a Fax Device
The following fields are prompted when you opt to add or change a F Fax device in Output Device Maintenance (XDM):

Overlay image file |

Enter the name of the overlay file or leave blank to fax on plain paper. The file must be in TIF format. An overlay is printed on the second and following pages of multi-page faxes. If you want this image to apply to all pages of a fax, and you are not using a traditional "cover page," enter this file name in the First page image field as well. |

Cover page image file |

Enter the name of the file that will be printed on the first page of the fax. If you are using a cover page to designate the recipient of the fax, date, and so forth, you can also specifiy the print positions for these fields. If you are not using a traditional "cover page" this file can be the same as the overlay image file if you want that image printed on the first page. |

Enter the person whose name is appear on the attention line on the fax and on the cover page if you entered a cover page as the first page image. |
