Create a Table of Choices
When you click Table while displaying an alphanumeric field for which you selected the Table validation field, you can enter choices users can select from a drop-down list.
The program displays the file name, sequence number of the user field and previously defined values in the table:

Enter a choice to be displayed when the user field is maintained. Consider the order you want the choices listed in the drop-down. See Display Order. You cannot change this field once a code is added. |

Display Order
Choices are displayed in alphanumeric sequence in a drop-down list when the user field is maintained. To make selecting choices most efficient, make sure the ones you expect to be selected most often are at the top of the list.
