Road Map: User Category Maintenance

Use the User Category Maintenance (XUC) program to add, change, copy, and delete a user category that you can use to grant access to selected programs for a group of users. See Background or more information.

You should run these programs:  

  • Output Device Maintenance (XDM) to set up the output devices that you plan to use.

  • Date-Output Device Maintenance (ZE) to select your default output device and set whether you can override that device.

After you run this program

You will most likely run these programs:

  • User Maintenance (UIM) to set up user records and select a category.
