Background: Language Codes Maintenance

Use the Language Codes Maintenance (TLM) program to add, change, copy, and delete language codes and item descriptions. See Road Map for work flow.

If you select a language code for a customer in the Customer Maintenance (CM) program, you can print item descriptions that you enter in this program on documents that you send to the customer: order acknowledgments, packing slips or lists, and invoices.

If you select a language code for a vendor in the Vendor Maintenance (VM) program, you can print item descriptions that you enter in this program on purchase orders that you send to the vendor.
