Road Map: Overhead Rate Codes Maintenance

Use the Overhead Rate Codes Maintenance (TORC) program to add, change, copy, and delete codes with rate percentages that you can select to apply overhead to item costs and work centers. See Background for more information.

Before you run this program the first time

You should run these programs:

  • (Optional) Audit Trail Maintenance (XAT) to activate logging of overhead codes entered, changed, or deleted with this program.

  • Output Device Maintenance (XDM) to set up the output devices you plan to use.

  • Date-Output Device Maintenance (ZE) to select your default output device and set whether you can override that device.

After you run this program

You will most likely run these programs:

  • Work Center Maintenance (WCM) to set up work centers and select overhead codes.

  • Item Cost Maintenance (ICM) to select overhead codes for items.

  • (Conditional) Audit Trails (ATR) to print a report of overhead codes entered, changed, or deleted with this program.
