Background: Serialized RMA Item Receipt
Use the Serialized RMA Item Receipt (IRP) to receive serial items associated with an RMA. See Road Map for more information.
Typically you would use this program to scan or enter serial numbers for receipt when a customer requests a return, but is unsure if the return information is accurate.
The program finds serial number matches (or non-matches). When you are satisfied that the entered serial numbers match those being returned, click Process. The program then creates the receiver and performs all the regular processing for the valid serial numbers. Non-serialized items on an RMA must be received using Receiver Maintenance (IRC).
The System Administrator controls user options for the program.
