Close a Purchase Order Line

When you click Close line in the PO Maintenance (VOE) program, program behavior depends on the status of the line.

If the line status is:

  • Open: The line has not been received
    The program prompts to void the line.

  • Partial: The item on this line has been partially received
    The prompts to close the line short.

  • Inspection: The item has been received, but not inspected, or inspected, but not received to stock
    You cannot close or void the line. Use Receiving and Inspection (IRI) program to receive the items to stock.

If you opt to void the line or close it short, the program returns to the list of PO lines.

If you do not void or cancel the line, the program returns to the PO line.
