Road Map: Receiver Print

Use the Receiver Print (VRP) program to print or reprint specific receivers. See Background for more information.

Before you run this program each time

You should run this program:

  • Receiver Maintenance (IRC) to receive a purchase order, manufacturing order, branch transfer, workorderless item, or RMA..

Before you run this program the first time

You should run these programs:

  • System Options Maintenance (XM) (Enterprise Options) to enter the Default system email domain and select a Barcode option.

  • System Options Maintenance (XM) (Enterprise Options) to select a date display format for your enterprise, Branch Maintenance (TBM) to select a date display format for your branch, or User Maintenance (UIM) to select a date display format for an individual user.

  • Branch Maintenance (TBM) to set up branches.

  • Branch Groups Maintenance (TGM) to set up branch groups.

  • GL Account Maintenance (GMM) to set up GL organization codes and accounts.

  • Document Message Maintenance (TRST) to set up message codes and associated message text that you want to print on document copies.

  • Output Device Maintenance (XDM) to set up the output devices that you plan to use.

  • Date-Output Device Maintenance (ZE) to select your default output device and set whether you can override that device.

After you run this program

You will most likely run these programs:

  • (Conditional) Manufacturing Order Receipt Register (MRJ) to print a listing of manufacturing order receivers and inventory accounts in the general ledger.

AND/OR

PO Receipt Register (VRJ) to print a listing of purchase order receivers and update inventory accounts in the general ledger.

AND/OR

Transfer Receipt Register (IRJ) to print a listing of transfer receivers and update inventory accounts in the general ledger.

AND/OR

RMA Receipt Register (SRJ) to print a listing of returned material authorization receivers and update inventory accounts in the general ledger.

  • Order-Receiver Inquiry (IORQ) to display receivers for a purchase order, manufacturing order, transfer, or RMA.

  • Receiver Inquiry (IRCQ) to display a receiver.

  • Receiving Report (VRR) to print a list of the receivers.

  • Inspection & Dock-to-Stock Status Report (VIS) to print a report of items awaiting inspection or receipt to inventory.

  • Receiving Reversal (IRR) to reverse a receiver.
