Print or Reprint a Receiver

Use the Receiver Print (VRP) program to print or reprint specific receivers. See Background and Road Map for more information.

Caution
To avoid printing every receiver in your system, be sure to enter Selection options or click List.

  1. Set your options:

    1. Click the Runtime tab to set runtime options. See Set Options for Reports and Inquiries for more information.

    2. Click the Sort tab to set sort order.

    3. Click the Selection tab to enter a receiver number, date received, or range or click List to enter a list of receivers that are not sequentially numbered. See Create a List of Receivers.

Caution
If you do not enter a specific receiver, range or list, you will reprint all receivers in the system.

Select the text message you want to print for items for which the Receiving cert reqd? field is selected in the Enterprise Item Maintenance (IM) program.

Print barcoded receiver number?

Select if you want to print the receiver number in barcode format or leave blank if you do not.

Print control numbers?

Optional

Select whether you want to print lot or serial control numbers:

Select this option to print associated receiving certificate numbers on the receiver. Numbers print only for items for that require a certificate number. Receiving certification is specified by item in Enterprise Item Maintenance (IM).

List open manufacturing requirements?

Optional

Select to list the manufacturing orders that have an open requirement for the received item

  1. Choose the appropriate options:

Print the receiver

Click Print. See Background for a list of what prints.

Note
The receiver prints immediately if the option Allow device override? in the Date-Output Device Maintenance (ZE) program is not selected.

If this option is selected, the program prompts Output device. Accept the default device that displays, which is specified in the Date-Output Device Maintenance program, or enter the name of a different device.

Save these options for future use

Click Save.

Refresh current selections

Click Refresh to display descriptions of changed branch or date shortcut selections.

Enter a list of receivers that are not sequentially numbered

Click List. See Create a List of Receivers.

Exit the program

Click Exit.
