Display Invoice Distributions

Use the Vendor Invoice Inquiry (NDI) program to display the distribution for a vendor invoice. See Road Map for work flow.

If you accessed this program from another program, skip step 1.

  1. Enter data in these fields:

Vendor number

Enter a vendor number or click the Lookup icon and use the standard lookup options to select the vendor from a list. The vendor name is displayed.

Note
When the vendor number is not on file [***], the program displays the vendor name based on the payment record.

Invoice number

Enter an invoice number for the vendor.

The program displays these fields:

The register number for the invoice

The sequence number of the invoice transaction

Description

The description of the GL account or the receiver number

The GL account number for this transaction

Trans amount

The amount of this transaction in the vendor's currency

DR/CR

C: Credit
D: Debit

Surch amt

The total surcharge amount in the vendor's currency

Qty paid

The quantity paid for

Reference

The reference for this transaction

Discount amount

The discount amount in the vendor's currency

Tr cd

The transaction code for the invoice:
BF
: Fixed Billing
BI
: Billing Invoice
CM
: Credit Memo
DM
: Debit Memo

Trans

The date of the transaction

GL post

The date the transaction posted to GL

Due

The date the invoice is due

  1. (Optional) Click Prog opts to review your options. To change them:

    1. Click the Runtime tab to set runtime options. See Set Options for Reports and Inquiries for more information.

    2. Click the Program tab to set this program specific option:

Select to display invoices that have been moved to history with the AP Transaction Archive (NEX) program or leave blank to omit them.

    1. Click Save to save these options for future use.

    2. Click OK to apply these options or click Cancel to exit without applying them.

  1. Choose the appropriate options:

Review your options for this program

Click Prog opts. See step 2.

Print the transaction listing

Click Print. See Print an Inquiry.

Display invoice details

Click Query. See Display AP-Purchasing Detail by Invoice Number. Click OK to return to this program.

Display the GL posting and journal entries

Click Journal. See Display an Interface Journal. Click OK to return to this program.

View documents for this invoice

Click Documents. See Document Archiving and Document Import for more information.

Exit this vendor and invoice

Click OK. See step 1 to select a different vendor and/or invoice.

Exit and return to the menu

Click Exit.
