Road Map: Customer Ship-to Maintenance

Use the Customer Ship-to Maintenance (CSM) program to enter or change, copy, and delete customer ship-to addresses that are different from the customer's remit-to address. See Background for more information.

Before you run this program the first time

You should run these programs:

  • System Options Maintenance (XM) (Enterprise Options) to set the Sales tax license desc 1 and Sales tax license desc 2 options.

  • Customer Maintenance (CM) to set up customer records. Field defaults in Customer Ship-to Maintenance come from the customer record you enter in Customer Maintenance.

  • Country Codes Maintenance (TCC) to define country codes and labels for state and postal codes fields.

  • State Descriptions Maintenance (TSM) to enter state, county, and province descriptions.

  • Postal Codes Maintenance (TZM) to enter -postal codes.

  • GL Account Maintenance (GMM) to set up GL organization codes.

  • Sales Region Maintenance (TSR) to set up sales regions.

  • Sales Rep Maintenance (SM) to set up sales representatives.

  • Commission Class Maintenance (TCCM) to set up commission class codes.

  • Customer Types Maintenance (TYM) to set up customer types.

  • Reason Codes Maintenance (TRCM) program to set up order hold reason codes.

  • Tax Codes Maintenance (TCM) to set up tax codes.

  • Branch Maintenance (TBM) to set up branches.

After you run this program

You will most likely run these programs:

  • Sales Order Maintenance (OE) or to enter orders and optionally obligate items and create shipments.

    OR

    One-Step Invoice Entry (RE) to enter an order, obligate items, create a shipment, and confirm the shipment in one step.

    OR

    Quote-to-Order Transer (EPIB) to transfer:

  • Sales orders imported from ASCII files with Order Import (EPI).

  • Sales quotations entered with EDI/Sales Quote Maintenance (QOE).

  • Customer projects transferred with Project Maintenance (PSM).

    • Orders created with Repetitive Billing Report (RBIC). address.

  • Customer Ship-to Inquiry (CSQ) to display a customer's ship-to record.

  • Sales Invoice Inquiry (SII) program to display invoiced sales orders that have been shipped to ship-to addresses.

  • Sales by Customer by Item Inquiry (SCI) to display sales and invoice information for an item or all items you have shipped to a customer ship-to address.

  • Audit Trails (ATR) print an audit trail report.
