Move Inventory from One Branch to Another
Use the Change Branch (RFTRAN) program to on hand inventory from one branch to another. See Background and Road Map for more information.
Instructions are written for Keypad mode. If you are operating in Scan mode respond with Return, Enter, Tab, or line feed where required.

Scan the desination branch code. If there is no branch item record does not exist for that branch, a branch record (maintained in Branch Item Maintenance) will be created. |

The program prompts Update? (Y/N/Ref).

Scan Y to complete the complete the update. The program returns to the item number field so you can enter the next item to be moved. Press Tab at a blank item to return to FROM br and at a blank to branch to return to the from branch. Pressing Tab at a blank from branch will exit to the RFMENU
OR
Scan N to change the entered data.
OR
Scan R to complete the update and add a reference to it. The entered reference will be visible in Material Issues and Adjustments Inquiry (IMIQ) and Material History Inquiry/Listing (MHI/MHP).
