Background: Shift Maintenance
Use the Shift Maintenance (LLZ) program to add or change, copy, and delete labor shift records. See Road Map for work flow.
Shift Maintenance allows you to enter individual standard shift parameters for starting and ending work and lunch and periods. Employee Maintenance (LSA) program sets the shift for each employee who clocks into work. A 24-hour clock is used for all time fields.
When employees clock in, the system verifies the current time against their assigned shift parameters and supervisor override authorizations. If an employee clocks into work at a time outside of set parameters, the system may prevent clocking in.
