Copy an Operation of a Configured Product

When you click Operations in the Configured Product Maintenance (MBM) program, you can create a new operation, change, copy, and delete an existing operation. See Background and Road Map for more information.

  1. Select the operation that you want to copy. Make sure that the operation you select is the type that you want to create.

  2. Click Copy. The program displays the Operation seq no field with the sequence number of the copied operation.

  3. Enter an operation sequence for the copied operation.

  4. Accept the operation code or select another.

  5. Accept the work center number or select another.

  6. Change the fields that are different for the copied operation. See Create a Regular or Batch Operation for a Configured Product, Create an Indirect Operation for a Configured Product, Create a Purchased Service Operation for a Configured Product, or Create an Unattended Operation for a Configured Product for field descriptions.

  7. Press F10.

  8. Click OK. The program prompts Operation seq no.

  9. Enter another sequence number or clear to exit copy mode.
