Display WIP Costs

Use the WIP Cost Inquiry (WICQ) program to display work in process labor, overhead, setup, outside service, and other costs for a manufacturing order. See Road Map for work flow.

Enter the number of the manufacturing order or click Lookup and use the standard lookup options to select the order from a list.

The program displays information about the manufacturing order:

The manufacturing order number that you entered or selected followed by its status:

Complete	The order quantity has been received into on-hand inventory
Closed by user	User clicked Close order in the Manufacturing Maintenance (MIM) program
Closed by rcv	Received less than quantity ordered and clicked Close order? in the Receiver Maintenance (IRC) program
In picking	Some components have been picked
Open	No components have been picked
Partial	Some have been received into on-hand inventory
Printed	Shop paper has been printed or queued for printing
Pending close	Order has not been received to stock with the Receiving and Inspection (IRI) program

The parent item number ordered on this manufacturing order

Description

The description of the parent item

ECL

The Engineering Change Level for this manufacturing order

RRL

The Routing Revision Level for this manufacturing order

Qty ordered

The quantity of this parent item to be manufactured for this order

Qty scrapped

The quantity of the parent item scrapped

Qty received

The quantity received into inventory

Qty rejected

The quantity of this item rejected during inspection

Qty stocked

The quantity received into inventory in the stocking unit of measure; this quantity can differ from the Qty received if some are awaiting inspection

Released

The date the manufacturing order was created

Due

The date this order is due

Picked

The date components were picked

Completed

The date this order was completed

The program displays these fields for each operation:

Accum mach OH	For an unattended operation: (Hours per piece x Machine labor rate x Good pieces) + (Hours per piece x Machine labor rate x Good pieces x Total overhead rate for work center x .01)
Accum setup cost	The setup cost per operation: Setup time x Setup labor rate For a regular or unattended operation: (Good pieces / Standard lot size) x (Setup time x Setup labor rate) For a batch operation: (Good pieces / Pieces per batch) x (Setup time x Setup labor rate)
Accum oth cost	The labor hours entered in the Labor Entry Maintenance (LLE) program or imported with the Labor Import (LEI) program for the Labor code O (Other)
Accum OS serv	The total outside service cost for this operation
Accum rwrk cost	The labor hours spent repairing pieces for this order
Oper type	Operation type: Batch Indirect Purchased service Regular Unattended
Work center	The work center at which this operation occurs
Good	The quantity of usable pieces completed
ST	The operation sequence type: Standard or Alternate
Mach no	The machine number for the work center
Accum scrap pieces	The quantity scrapped
% Comp	The percent of this operation that has been completed
Oper cd	The operation code
Remaining	The quantity not yet completed

(Optional) Highlight a line and click Routing to display hours per piece, setup time, setup and direct labor codes, and other information. The information that displays depends on the operation type:

P for Purchased service	Display a Purchased Service Operation
I for Indirect	Display an Indirect Operation
U for Unattended	Display an Unattended Operation

Click OK to return to this program.

Choose the appropriate options:

Display only total labor, labor overhead, machine overhead, setup, other, outside service, and rework costs	Click Totals. Click Totals again to return to the operation list.
Display components for this manufacturing order	Click Component. See Display Component Requirements. Click OK to return to this program.
Display hours per piece, setup time, setup and direct labor codes for an operation	Highlight a line and click Routing. See step 2.
Display labor detail for this manufacturing order	Click Labor. See Display Labor for a Manufacturing Order.
Specify a different manufacturing order	Click OK. See step 1.
Exit the program	Click Exit.
