Enter Pieces Completed, Scrap Parents and Components

Use the WIP Movement (WIPM) program to enter good pieces completed, scrap parent items, and scrap components for operation sequences on a manufacturing order. See Background and Road Map for more information.

  1. Enter a manufacturing order number or click the Lookup icon and use the standard lookup options to select the order from a list.

    The program displays information about the order:

The manufacturing order number that you entered or selected followed by its status

Parent item no

The number of the parent item ordered

Description

The description of the parent item

ECL

The engineering change level of the item ordered

RRL

The routing revision level of the item ordered

Qty ordered

The quantity ordered

Qty scrapped

The quantity scrapped

Qty received

The quantity eceived

Qty rejected

The quantity rejected during inspection

Qty stocked

The quantity received into inventory in the stocking unit of measure; this quantity can differ from the Qty received if some are awaiting inspection

Released

The date the order was released

Due

The date the order is due

Picked

The date the order was picked

Completed

The date that this order was completed and received into on-hand inventory

  • For batch operations: ((Qty remaining x Hours per batch) / Pieces per batch) + ((Qty remaining / Pieces per batch) x Setup time)

Review your options

Click Prog opts to select manufacturing branches and limit the display to a single work center and machine.

Print the operation sequence listing

Click Print.

Display QC failures and repairs

Click QC Inquiry. See Manufacturing Quality Control.

Enter good and scrap pieces for an operation sequence

Highlight the line and click Movement or double click the line. See Enter Good and Scrap Quantities.

Add an alternate operation to the sequences listed

Click Alternate. See Select an Alternate Operation Sequence.

Specify another manufacturing order

Click OK. See step 1.

Return to the menu

Click Exit.
