Scrap or Reject Components
When you click Comp scrap in the WIP Movement (WIPM) or Labor Entry (LLE) program, you can select one or more components to scrap or you can reject these components and let the Material Review Board determine their disposition.
Notes
Floor stock components must be scrapped in Material Issues and Adjustments (IMI) and are not included in the displayed component list.
You cannot scrap or reject a compoenent that has not been picked for the order; you must use Material Issues and Adjustments (IMI).
The program displays these fields for all non-floor stock components in the item's bill of material:

Select a component to scrap or reject |
Highlight the line and click Select or double click the line. A check mark indicates the component is selected. Click Select or double click the line again to de-select the component. If the component is controlled by lot or serial number, the program prompts you to select the control number(s) to scrap. |
