Change Your User Transaction Date

Use the Date-Output Device Maintenance (ZE) program to set your default output device and change your user transaction date for the current terminal session. See Background and Road Map for more information.

  1. Accept today's date or override today's date by entering a different date.

The date format depends on how you have set the date format for your enterprise in the System Options Maintenance (XM) program (Enterprise Options), for your branch in Branch Maintenance (TBM), or for an individual user in the User Maintenance (UIM) program.

Caution
This date change affects only this screen and the transactions you make while logged on to it. If you log on to another session, the date for that session will be the system login date. You may become confused if you switch sessions. Log off when you complete the transaction so that you reset the date to the system login date.

See Set Your Default Output Device to set the Default output device and the Allow device override? fields.

  1. Press F10 to save changes and exit the program.
