Road Map: Freight Codes Maintenance

Use the Freight Codes Maintenance (TFP) program to add or change, copy, and delete freight payment method codes. See Background for more information.

Before you run this program the first time

You should run these programs:

  • Output Device Maintenance (XDM) to set up the output devices you plan to use.

  • Date-Output Device Maintenance (ZE) to select your default output device and set whether you can override that device.

  • Miscellaneous Charge Codes Maintenance (TMSM) to set up codes associated with fixed amount miscellaneous charges. Miscellaneous charge codes that are defined as percentages cannot be selected in Freight Codes Maintenance (TFP).

After you run this program

You will most likely run these programs:

  • Customer Maintenance (CM) to set up customer records.

  • Customer Ship-to Maintenance (CSM) to set up customer ship-to addresses that are different from the customer's remit-to address.

  • Sales Order Maintenance (OE) to enter sales orders.

AND/OR

One-Step Invoice Entry (RE) to enter and confirm sales orders in one step.

AND/OR

EDI/Sales Quote Maintenance (QOE) to enter a sales quotation and correct an error in an imported order.

  • Sales Shipment Confirmation (OC) or Secured Confirmation (SOC) to create and confirm a shipment.

  • Vendor Maintenance (VM) to set up vendors.

  • Branch Transfer Confirmation (ITS) or Secured Transfer Confirmation (SITS) to create and confirm a transfer shipment.
