Road Map: Inventory Adjustment Codes Maintenance
Use the Inventory Adjustment Codes Maintenance (TIAC) program to add, change, copy, and delete codes that explain an inventory or cost adjustment and can be used as criteria for posting inventory adjustments to the general ledger. See Background for more information.

Before you run this program the first time
You should run these programs:
System Options Maintenance (XM) (Inventory Control Options) to select the Inventory interfaced to GL? and Default reason for ALWM transaction options.
Output Device Maintenance (XDM) to set up the output devices you plan to use.
Date-Output Device Maintenance (ZE) to select your default output device and set whether you can override that device.
After you run this program
You will most likely run these programs:
Posting Criteria Maintenance (XPC) to set posting criteria and accounts for posting to the general ledger. COST VAR, INVENTORY, INVTY ADJ, INVTY EXP, LABOR ADJ, LABOR BURD, LABR BURAJ, LBR BRDSCR, LBR SCRAP, MRB, PUR VAR, and WIP ADJEXP can use this code.
Material Issues & Adjustments (IMI) to adjust quantities of on-hand and floor stock, issue consumables, issue inventory to floor stock or floor stock to inventory, move a warehouse/bin controlled item to another location, scrap items, pick components for a manufacturing order, and print the Inventory Adjustment Register.
Material Issues & Adjustments Inquiry (IMIQ) to display inventory adjustments.
Manufacturing Cost Adjustments (MCA) to enter an adjustment to costs for a manufacturing order, print the Manufacturing Cost Adjustments Register, and update the general ledger if you have inventory interfaced to the GL.
Manufacturing Cost Adjustments Inquiry (MCAQ) to display manufacturing cost adjustments.
WIP Movement (WIPM) to enter good pieces completed and scrap controlled components for operation sequences on a manufacturing order.
OR
Labor Entry (LLE) program to enter hours worked on a manufacturing order and good pieces completed and scrap controlled components for operation sequences on a manufacturing order.
