Add Location Categories for Warehouse Mapping

Use the Location Category Maintenance (TLCAT) program to add location categories for warehouse mapping. Location categories are used to specify a series of locations or adjacent locations to allow items to be stored in vicinity of each other. See Road Map for work flow.

  1. Click Add if codes exist.

  2. Enter data in these fields:

Enter a unique identifier for the location category code you want to create.

Enter a description for this category code.

This description displays to the right of the code when you select a code in the Warehouse Mapping (TWMAP) program.

  1. Choose the appropriate options:

Accept the data

Click OK. The program prompts Location category. Enter another code or leave blank to exit.

Exit without creating this code

Click Cancel.

Update the program record

Click Apply.

Delete a saved record

Click Delete. See Delete.

Delete the selected code

Click Delete. See Delete.

Copy the selected code

Click Copy. See Copy.

Display the selected code

Click Select.

Display location categories from a specific code

Click Restart. The program prompts Location category. Enter the first category code you want to display, or leave blank to begin with the first category code in the file.

Print the location categories listing

Click Print. See Print.

Display the previous set of records in the file

Click Page up.

Display the next set of records in the file

Click Page down.

Exit the program

Click Exit.
