Add Location Types for Warehouse Mapping

Use the Location Type Maintenance (TLOCT) program to add location types for warehouse mapping. Location types specify physical attributes of the location (e.g., pallet size accepted, bin type). See Road Map for work flow.

Click Add if codes exist.
Enter data in these fields:

Field Name	Type / Max Length	Action / Description
Location type	Required 3 alphanumeric	Enter a unique identifier for the location type code you want to create.
Description	Required 30 alphanumeric	Enter a description for this type code. This description displays to the right of the code when you select a code in the Warehouse Mapping (TWMAP) program.

Choose the appropriate options:

To	Do This
Accept the data	Click OK. The program prompts Location type. Enter another code or leave blank to exit.
Exit without creating this code	Click Cancel.
Update the program record	Click Apply.
Delete a saved record	Click Delete. See Delete.

Choose the appropriate options when you click OK or Cancel:

Add another code	Click Add.
Delete the selected code	Click Delete. See Delete.
Copy the selected code	Click Copy. See Copy.
Display the selected code	Click Select.
Display location types from a specific code	Click Restart. The program prompts Location type. Enter the first type code you want to display, or leave blank to begin with the first type code in the file.
Print the location types listing	Click Print. See Print.
Display the previous set of records in the file	Click Page up.
Display the next set of records in the file	Click Page down.
Exit the program	Click Exit.
