Background: Manufacturer Approval Status Codes Maintenance
Use the Manufacturer Approval Status Codes Maintenance (TMA) program to add, change, copy, and delete codes that are used by the Compliant Items by Manufacturer (VGMI) program. See Background and Road Map for more information.
Approval status codes can be selected for a manufacturer's item using the Compliant Items by Manufacturer (VGMI) program.
Item Inspection
If the Receipt allowed? option is not selected, the item is considered not approved and requires inspection. If there is no manufacturer status code, the item will also require inspection.
