Change a Work Center Operation Start Date and Time

When you select a work center operation and click Adjust oper from the Work Center Operations (WCO) program, the program displays these fields:

The manufacturing order number that you selected

The operation sequence number

Parent item no

The parent item number ordered followed by the description

Work center no

The work center number associated with this operation

Machine number

The number of the machine used for this operation

Operation code

The code of this operation sequence

Date last rptd

Date of last activity for this operation, which may be the date you released the manufacturing order, picked components, entered hours worked in the Labor Entry (LLE) program or imported them with the Labor Import (LEI) program, entered good and scrapped pieces in the WIP Movement (WIPM) program, or received the finished goods into inventory

Remaining pcs

The quantity remaining to be manufactured

Start date sched

Enter the date or use a date shortcut to specify when the operation is scheduled to start.

Start time sched

Enter T to use the current time on the system clock or enter the time in the format hh:mm:ss or hh:mm (:00 is added is seconds are not specified).

  1. You can change the operation to an alternate work center/machine if no one is currently logged into the operation.

  2. You can override the start date.

  3. You can override the start time.

  4. Click OK or Apply to save changes.

Enter good pieces completed, scrap parent items, and scrap components for operation sequences on a manufacturing order

Click Movement. Press F1 for help topic. The program executed depends on the reporting option selected in System Options Maintenance (XM).

Print the shop paper for the selected line

Click Shop paper. See Print or Reprint Documents.

Change the scheduled start date, start time or the work center/machine where the work is scheduled

Click Adjust oper.

Displaying total remaining pieces and hours at this work center for all open manufacturing orders

Click Totals. Click Totals again to return to the detail display.

Print the list of open orders for this work center

Click Print. See Print an Inquiry.

Print a document of parts produced for a selected work in process

Click Traveler.

The program prompts for the quantity to be printed on the traveler document and uses the Label code program option to print the document. A standard traveler ($TRAVEL) is included with PowerShift; it can be changed as needed.

View an image, PDF file, or web page for the item of a selected line

Click View.

View or print documents related to the parent item

Click Documents. Select the desired document then click View.

Review tool availability for this work center

Click Tools.

Choose a different work center

Click OK.

Exit the program

Click Exit.
