Add an Imported Document Type
Use the Imported Document Types (TIDM) program to organize external files/documents that you import to PowerShift.
Note
The [default path] and [default
folder] are required for document import and cannot be deleted.
The associated subfolder can be changed as required.
Current document types are listed:

Choose the appropriate options:

Click Add. |

Highlight the line and click Delete. See Delete. |
Copy a document type |
Highlight the line and click Copy. See Copy. |
Display or change a document type |
Highlight the line and click Select or double click the line. |
Print the list of document types |
Click Print. See Print. |
List imported documents of a specified type |
Highlight the line and click Doc history. See Display Imported Documents. Click OK to return to this program. |
Exit the program |
Click Exit. |

Enter the relative path of subfolder where imported documents of this type will reside. The base path is the Document archive path specified in System Options Maintenance: Help and Other Path Options. Important! The subfolder must exist and be accessible to PowerShift or it will not be saved. |

If this is a new document type, click OK. The program prompts for another document type. See step 2. If you made changes to an existing record, click Apply to accept the changes or Cancel to abandon the changes. |
Return to the list of imported document types |
