Road Map: SCAC Codes Maintenance

Use the SCAC Codes Maintenance (TSCAC) program to add, change, copy, and delete a Standard Carrier Alpha Code that you can select for a shipper in the Ship Via Maintenance (TSV) program. See Background for more information.

You should run these programs: None required

Before you run this program the first time

You should run these programs:  

  • Vendor Maintenance (VM) to set up vendors.

  • Output Device Maintenance (XDM) to set up the output devices you plan to use.

  • Date-Output Device Maintenance (ZE) to select your default output device and set whether you can override that device.

After you run this program

You will most likely run these programs:

  • Ship Via Maintenance (TSV) to set up ship via codes for customers and vendors.

  • Bill of Lading Maintenance (BLM) to create and confirm a sales or transfer bill of lading.

  • Shipment Lines Inquiry (OSIQ) to display line information for a shipment and click Track to access the shipper's website to display its delivery status.
