Change a Special Packaging Code

Use the Special Packaging Codes Maintenance (TSPM) program to add, change, copy, and delete special packaging codes. Packaging codes can be used to create a miscellaneous charge to account for extra weight due to additional crating, pallets, etc. typically associated with international shipments. See Background and Road Map for more information.

Select the packaging code that you want to change and click Select.
Enter the correct data. See Add a Special Packaging Code for field descriptions.
Choose the appropriate options:

To	Do This
Accept the data and exit	Click OK.
Exit without changing this packaging code	Click Cancel.
Update the program record	Click Apply.
Delete this packaging code	Click Delete. See Delete.

Choose the appropriate options when you click OK or Cancel:

To	Do This
Add another packaging code	Click Add.
Delete the selected packaging code	Click Delete. See Delete.
Copy the selected packaging code	Click Copy. See Copy.
Display the selected packaging code	Click Select.
Display packaging codes from a specific code	Click Restart. The program prompts Code. Enter the first code you want to display or leave blank to begin with the first code in the file.
Print the list of packaging codes	Click Print. See Print.
Display the previous set of records in the file	Click Page up.
Display the next set of records in the file	Click Page down.
Exit the program	Click Exit.
