Add or Change a Postal Code

Use the Postal Codes Maintenance (TZM) program to add or change, copy, and delete postal codes. When you enter a postal code, the system retrieves the city, state, and country from the postal code's record. See Road Map for work flow.

The program displays existing postal codes:

  1. Choose the appropriate options:

Add a postal code

Click Add. The program prompts Postal code. Enter the postal code (up to 15 alphanumeric characters) you want to add. See step 2.

Delete a postal code

Click Delete. See Delete.

Copy a postal code

Click Copy. See Copy.

View or change a postal code

Highlight a code and click Select or double click the line.

Print the list of postal codes

Click Print. See Print.

Exit the program

Click Exit.

Enter a code for the country in which this postal code is located. Programs in which you enter address information display this country code when you enter this postal code.

Move the cursor to the field and enter data. Click OK to accept or Cancel to abandon the change.

Delete this ship via code

Click Delete. See Delete.

Return to the list of ship via codes

Click OK. See step 1.

Exit the program

Click Exit.
