Adjust On-Hand Quantities
When you select the ADJ issue/adjustment type in the Material Issues and Adjustments (IMI) program, you can add to or remove from inventory.
Add a Controlled Item
Enter data in these fields (only some of which display depending on the type of control for the item) to add to inventory:

be stored. |
Enter bin location |

Accept the displayed
bin location or enter a different bin where this item is to be
stored. |
Click OK. Go to step 3.
Remove a Controlled Item
If the item is controlled, the program displays these fields:

Click Sel to the left of the serial number, lot, or warehouse/bin location that you want to remove. Click Exit.
OR
Click Sel
to the left of a lot or location, click Modify,
and enter a quantity that is less than the quantity requested. Click Exit.
OR
Choose the appropriate options:

Enter a range of serial numbers to remove |
Click Range.
Click Remove ser to remove the entered range or click Cancel to abandon the adjustment. |

Accept the selection and exit |
Click Exit. |
If you click Exit
and the selection quantity is not equal to the request quantity, the program
prompts You have over/under selected.
Exit and change the line quantity? Click Yes
to exit and modify the Qty issued/adj
quantity or click No to
change serial number selection.
The program displays issues and adjustments at the bottom of the screen.
The display includes the line number, branch, item number and description,
quantity issued/adjusted, and the new on-hand quantity after the adjustment.
The program prompts Line number.
Enter another adjustment or clear the Line number field to exit.
Choose the appropriate options when you leave the field blank:

Click Register to print the Inventory Adjustment Register for this batch or choose the appropriate options when you click Exit:
