Background: Employee Override Authorization

Use the Employee Override Authorization (LOA) program to enter or change, copy, and delete an override to an employee's shift parameters for a single day. See Road Map for work flow.

This program allows supervisors to alter an employee's shift parameters for the input date. When employees clock in, the system validates shift parameters and any override authorizations.

Lunch Time Overrides

Lunch and break periods entries in this program override the lunch and break periods in the Employee Maintenance (LSA) program and in Shift Codes Maintenance (LLZ).

Overtime

Overtime must be approved for the calculation to be correct. The goal is to have overtime approved before work begins. Otherwise, hours are adjusted to the standard shift parameters.
