Background: Barcode Labor Entry
Use the Barcode Labor Entry (LRTE) program to start work and enter pieces. The system clock calculates time worked. See Road Map for work flow.
Employees use this program to scan their employee badge and barcodes on a shop paper to enter production information directly into the system.

Crew Leaders and Members
When a crew leader logs onto a job, the Crew List Maintenance (LTEC) program can be displayed to allow shift selection or changes to the crew list. Any crew members added to the crew list are deleted when the crew leader logs off the operation. A crew member may not log onto a job, if their crew leader is logged onto a job.
Elapsed Time Calculation
When the program calculates elapsed time, it subtracts employee lunch and break periods as follows:
If there is a Employee Override Authorization (LOA) entry for the current date and it contains lunch and break starts and stops they are used. If blank, it checks lunch and breaks for the employee in Employee Maintenance (LSA).
If the LSA lunch and break times are populated, they are used. If blank, the lunch and breaks in Labor Collection Shift Codes Maintenance (LLZ) are used.
If the an unattended operation is being reported by an employee with the Employee class X (machine) and it contains a shift of E, the program uses the lunch and breaks of the employee associated with the machine entry.
