Copy a Bill of Material
Use the Bill of Material Maintenance (MPS) program to enter or change, copy, and delete a bill of material for standard and phantom items. See Background and Road Map for more information.
Enter the number of the parent item you want to copy or click the Lookup icon and use the standard lookup options to select the item from a list.
The program displays existing Engineering Change Levels for this item.Select the ECL you want to copy and click Select.
Click Bill copy.
Enter data in these fields:

Enter the number of an existing item to which you want to copy to this bill of material. The item type of the new item must be the same as the current parent item. |

Click Restart. The program prompts ECL. Enter the first ECL you want to display or leave blank to begin the display with the first ECL in the file. |
Print the ECL listing |
Click Print. See Print. |
Display the previous set of records in the file |
Click Page up. |
Display the next set of records in the file |
Click Page down. |
Sort the listing by Engineering drawing number, bill type, date entered, or ECL |
Click Sort options. Click a sort order or click Cancel to end this action. |
Exit this item |
Click Exit. |
Choose the appropriate option when you click Exit:
