Extend the Forecast by Periods you Define
When you click Period in the Forecast Maintenance (MSF) program, you can extend a forecast by periods that you define.

Enter data in these fields:

Select the beginning date or enter a date shortcut of the first new forecast period. The date you enter cannot overlap any forecast period you created with this program. |

Number of days in period |
Required |
Enter the number of days you want in each new period. For example, if you want to forecast by quarter, enter 90. |

How many periods? |
Required |
Enter the number of periods you want to create. |
|
Forecast qty per period |
Required |
Enter the forecast quantity per period. |
The program prompts Do you want to proceed with this?

Click Yes to extend the forecast, No to change a field, or Cancel to exit without extending the forecast.

Extend the forecast by periods defined in the Forecast Period Maintenance (MST) program |
Click Template. See Extend the Forecast using a Template. |

Display forecasts from sales representatives, customers, or branches |
Click Detail. See Display Forecast Detail. Click Exit to return to this program. |

Exit the forecast for this item |
Click Exit. |
