When you click Component in the Warranty Tracking Maintenance (WTM) program, these fields display for existing components:

Select the component you want to change, click Select, and click Modify.

Click Add to add a new operation and accept the assigned sequence number.

Accept the displayed number of days after a manufacturing order is released that the component is required or enter a number. For example, an offset of 0 means the component is required when the manufacturing order is released; an offset of 3 indicates that the component is not required until 3 work days after the manufacturing order has been released. The offset cannot be greater than the lead time of the parent. Planning uses the lead-time offset when calculating delivery or due dates. |
