Add Engineering Change Order Compliance Codes

Use the ECO Compliance Codes Maintenance (TECOM) program to add compliance codes that you can use for managing and implementing engineering change orders with the ECO Maintenance (ECO) program. See Background and Road Map for more information.

Click Add if codes exist. The program prompts Compliance code.
Enter a unique identifier (4 alphanumeric characters maximum) for the compliance code you want to create.

Enter data in these fields:

Field Name	Type / Max Length	Action / Description
Compliance description	Required 30 alphanumeric	Enter the full description for the compliance code. The system displays this description to the right of the code when the user selects a code in a Compliance code field.
Signoff code 1 – 5	Optional 4 alphanumeric	Select each signoff code for this compliance code.

Choose the appropriate options:

To	Do This
Accept the data	Click OK. The program prompts Compliance code. Enter another code or leave blank to exit.
Exit without creating this code	Click Cancel.
Update the program record	Click Apply.
Delete a saved record	Click Delete.

Note
You cannot delete a record until it has been saved; use Cancel.

Choose the appropriate options when you click OK or Cancel:

Add another compliance code	Click Add.
Delete the selected code	Click Delete. See Delete.
Copy the selected code	Click Copy. See Copy.
Display the selected code	Click Select.
Display codes from a specific code	Click Restart. The program prompts Compliance code. Enter the code you want to display, or leave blank to begin with the first date in the file.
Print the code listing	Click Print. See Print.
Display the previous set of records in the file	Click Page up.
Display the next set of records in the file	Click Page down.
Exit the program	Click Exit.
