Add a Rejection Code
Use the Rejection Codes Maintenance (TMRB) program to add, change, copy, and delete codes that you can assign during inspection to explain the reason for rejecting an item. See Road Map for work flow.
-
Click Add if codes exist. The program prompts Reject code.
-
Enter a unique identifier (5 alphanumeric characters maximum) for the code you want to create. The program prompts Description.
-
Enter text (30 alphanumeric characters maximum) that describes the code (for example, mishandling in house, mishandling at vendor, mishandling in route, part not to specifications, wrong part, or wrong ECL). This description displays to the right of the code when the user selects a code in the Reason code field in the Receiving and Inspection (IRI), WIP Movement (WIPM), or Labor Entry (LLE) programs.
