Change Vendor Contacts

Use the Vendor Contact Maintenance (VLM) program to enter, change, copy, and delete contacts for a vendor. See Road Map for work flow.

Note
If you accessed this program from another program, skip step 1.

  1. Enter the vendor's number or click the Lookup icon and use the standard lookup options to select the vendor from a list. The program lists current contacts.

  2. Select the contact you want to change and click Select.

  3. Click Modify and enter the correct data. See Enter Vendor Contacts for field descriptions.

  4. Choose the appropriate options:

Change a field

Move the cursor to the field(s) and make changes. Click Apply to accept the changes or click Cancel to reject them.

Delete this contact

Click Delete. See Delete.

Enter or change notes for this contact

Click Notes. See Enter Notes or Change Notes.

Enter or change data in custom fields your company uses

Click User. See Enter Data in User or Shadow File Fields.

Note
This button displays only if you have set up user-defined fields for this program in the User Fields Maintenance (XMO) program.

Accept the data and exit

Click OK.

  1. Choose the appropriate options when you click OK or Cancel:

Add another contact

Click Add.

Delete the selected contact

Click Delete. See Delete.

Copy the selected contact

Click Copy. See Copy.

Display the selected contact

Click Select.

Print the contact name listing

Click Print. See Print.

Return to the list of vendor contacts

Click OK.

Exit the program

Click Exit.
