Change the Quantity Picked

When you click Lines in the Picking Confirmation (MPK) or Secured Picking (SMPK) program, you can change the quantity of a component to be picked.

The program displays these fields:

Line

A line number on the order

Item number

The number of the component

Stk UOM

The item's stocking unit of measure

Original qty

The quantity of this component required to build the parent item

Qty in picking

The quantity to be picked

Qty shipped

The quantity that has already been picked

Kit?

Does not apply

Exp shp

The expected picking date, which is the date you created the shipment

  1. Select the component whose quantity you need to change and click Select:

  2. Click Modify to change quantity in picking.

  3. Enter the quantity actually picked in the Qty in picking field.

  4. Choose the appropriate options:

Click Modify.

This button does not display after you click Confirm.

Exit without changing the field

Click Cancel.

Enter or change notes

Click Notes. See Enter Notes or Change Notes.

Display serial or lot numbers, warehouse and/or bin locations for the selected item

Click Ctrl info. See Display Shipment Line Detail. Click Exit to return to this program.

Change the quantity obligated

Click Obligated. See Obligate Items.

This button does not display after you click Confirm.

Exit this component

Click OK.

  1. Click Sel to the left of the control number or location to release the quantity obligated. Then click Sel again to obligate the new quantity.

OR

Click a location (not Sel) to highlight it, click Modify, and enter the quantity you want from the selected location. See Obligate Items.

  1. Click Exit.

  2. Choose the appropriate options:

Click Select.

Display components from a specific component

Click Restart. The program prompts Line number. Enter the line number of the first component you want to display or leave blank to begin with the first component in the file.

Print the component listing

Click Print. See Print.

Display the previous set of records in the file

Click Page up.

Display the next set of records in the file

Click Page down.

Display serial or lot numbers, warehouse and/or bin locations for the selected item

Click Ctrl info. See Display Shipment Line Detail. Click Exit to return to this program.

Exit components

Click Exit.

  1. Click Confirm to accept quantity picked. The status changes from In picking to Picked.

  2. Choose the appropriate options:

Secured Picking (SMPK) does not display this button.

Delete this shipment

 

Click Delete. See Delete.

You cannot delete a shipment that has been confirmed. However, you can click Reverse and then click Delete.

Secured Picking (SMPK) does not display this button.

Exit without changing the shipment

Click Cancel. The program prompts Exit without updating? Click Yes to exit without updating the record or click No to retain the changes that you made.

Secured Picking (SMPK) does not display this button.

Enter notes for this picking

Click Notes. See Enter Notes.

Change the quantity picked

Click Lines.

Confirm picking

Click Confirm.

Reverse picking confirmation

Click Reverse.

Secured Picking (SMPK) does not display this button.

Enter a revised ship date and select a reason code

Click Revise ship and then Modify.

This button displays only after you run the Manufacturing Order Picking Register (MPKJ) program.

Enable barcode scanning

Click Prog opts. See Set Confirmation Options.

Accept the data and exit this manufacturing order

Click OK.

  1. Choose the appropriate options when you click Cancel or OK:

Pick selected components

Exit the program

Click Exit.
