Enter a New Project
Use the Project Maintenance (PSM) program to enter, change, or close a customer or engineering project. See Background and Road Map for more information.
Click New, enter NEW, or enter # if you want the program to assign the next available project number. Use the Numbering System Setup (XOC) program to set a project numbering scheme
OR
Enter a unique identifier (12 alphanumeric characters maximum) for the Project number you want to create. You can do this only if the Allow override? option is selected for Project Number in Numbering System Setup.
The program prompts Parent item no
Enter a number for the parent item (24 alphanumeric characters maximum) for this project. This number cannot be used in another active project or exist in your database.
