Enter a Routing
When you click Routing in the Project Maintenance (PSM) program, you can enter, change, and delete a routing revision level for a project. See Background and Road Map for more information.
If this is the first record for the routing, the program displays the parent item number and the routing revision level entered in the project header.

Click Add if a routing exists.

Enter the number of the parent item or click the Lookup icon and use the standard lookup options to select the item from a list.

Enter the routing revision level or leave blank. If you leave blank, the program prompts Use the current RRL?

(Conditional) Click Yes to use the revision level entered in the RRL field for this project or click No to enter a different RRL.

Enter the average quantity of the item that you manufacture together, sharing the same production cost and specifications. This field is not used by the system, but you can use it in custom reports. |

Max order qty |

Enter the maximum quantity for a single manufacturing order. You can override this maximum in the Manufacturing Order Maintenance (MIM) or Planned Order Maintenance (MOP) program. The Order Release Selection (MRR) program uses this order maximum. |

Rough weight |

Enter the estimated weight, which can be for a single item, a standard lot, or the raw materials. This field is not used by the system, but you can use it in custom reports. |

Click Operations to create a new operation. or change an operation.
OR
Click Merge routing to use the routing of another project or a parent item in your database.

If the sequences you are merging have the same numbers as sequences in an existing routing, the merged sequences replace the existing sequences. Sequences that have different numbers are added.

Note
You cannot delete a record until it has been saved; use Cancel.
